This is still in Alpha, so please know that several things will change with the items listed over time. More stats will likely be put into them down the road as the bot gets better able to handle stats. This is being put up now as a way to give people a chance to play with getting the items ic, to give me a feel for if things are taking too long to buy or are able to be gotten for a trivial amount of time not to mention to see if some items are trivial or not.
A character can only use a weapon if the character has the appropriate perquisite weapon skill as well as enough hands to use it. Though dual wielding will eventually be brought into the game, for now only one attack can be used at a time since the added rolls to implement it would be a chore to play and hold up any combat scene from progressing in good time.
Weapons are items that will bolster a characters attack values. Primarily the values that will be innately available on weapons will be magical attack and physical attack. Minor stats that can be a part of a weapon will be agi, willpower and energy. These stats will combine with a characters natural stats to give an effective stat to be used in combat.
For example:
Alren has a magic attack value of 25 and an occult staff that has a magic attack value of 10. His attack roll for spells cast while wielding the occult staff would be 35. If he were to swing the staff at a goblin's head then it would use the staffs physical attack value and Alren's personal physical attack value in a dice roll instead.
